The Kenko MC ND8 (ND0.9) is an Optical Glass Filter designed for Digital Cameras. This ND8 filter reduces the amount of light entering the lens so wider apertures can be selected, which is perfect for portraiture to reduce depth of field. Subject appears crisp and clear while the background becomes a soft blur.

This filter has a coating on each side to reduce reflections. This is not found with non-coated filters such as the Tiffen ND 0.6 or 0.9
